Organization
The Woodpeckers are the warband of the Orlmarth clan.
All adult members of the fyrd are members of the warband, but most form
a reserve to the weaponsthanes called up only in time of need. For the
Woodpeckers, membership in any of the Thunder Brothers subcults
qualifies for membership within the warband.

Ordenag Red-Head (Guardian)
When
Orane hid in the Nymie Vale, she was protected by a flock of
woodpeckers that emerged from the blood of the Illuvani. When
Venebain tried to kidnap Orane, the woodpeckers drove him
off. Ordenag Red-Head, bravest of the flock, chased after
Sevalsal and wounded him, taking some of his powers.

banner is woven of a very plain bright cloth and is said to have no
figure
embroidered on it. In times of war, a
stylized redheaded woodpecker appears on it, intertwined with a motion
rune. |
