Welcome Pete Nash to the Moon Design team!
Moon Design Publications is proud to announce that Pete Nash is joining the Moon Design team and already up and working on top quality RPG material.
Pete's first project for Moon Design is a new-fangled Glorantha Bestiary, but not just another list of stats and attacks. This is a proper bestiary, an homage to fantasy classics like Barlowe's Guide to Extraterrestrials and Petersen's Field Guide to Cthulhu Monsters. Based upon the long-lost writings of a legendary Jrusteli explorer (and annotated by the famed scholar Minaryth Purple), each beast is fully described, including its habitat, height, weight, personal magic, method of attack, so forth, (even its social structure and religion as appropriate) - each with enough detail so that you can fill your Gloranthan campaign with beasts and monsters.
Pete is the author of the critically acclaimed Rome - Life and Death of the Republic, which went on to receive a a Silver Ennie award. This was followed by co-developing/authoring Mongoose RuneQuest II with his long-time friend Loz.
During his short tenure at Mongoose Publishing, Pete was responsible for numerous books, mostly for RuneQuest and Traveller, amongst which was the noted RuneQuest II Vikings.
A subject of Her Majesty (and responsible for beefing up the British contingent of the previously entirely too American Moon Design team), Pete now lives with his family in northern Sweden, some 80km (that's 50 miles for you Yanks) short of the Arctic Circle. Whilst the remote location makes convention attendance somewhat difficult, he makes up for this by teaching armed medieval combat, photographing the Aurora Borealis in the winter and working too late in the summer; where the Midnight sun confuses his body-clock.
